Welcome to Palenque, your online palengke marketplace for fresh vegetables, seafood, meat, groceries, and essential goods. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Palenque website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By using the Palenque website and mobile apps, you agree to the following terms:
1. Use of the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your account.
2. Order & Payment
- Orders are final once placed.
- Payments are processed via GCash, COD, or approved gateways.
- Prices and delivery fees are shown at checkout.
3. Variable Weight Disclaimer
Items like meat, fish, and produce may vary in final weight. Vendors may adjust the final amount; any extra amount may be settled via COD or GCash at delivery.
4. Delivery Policy
- Delivery times depend on traffic and vendor preparation.
- Customers must be reachable during delivery.
- Once delivered, product condition is the customer’s responsibility.
5. Returns & Refunds
Perishable items are non-returnable unless damaged or spoiled upon delivery. Issues must be reported within 2 hours with photo proof.
6. Marketplace Model
Palenque acts as a facilitator between customer, vendor, and rider.
7. Limitation of Liability
Palenque is not responsible for vendor errors, delivery delays, or product variations caused by natural factors.
8. Governing Law
These Terms follow the laws of the Philippines.
